Padideh Ahrarnejad & Ali Massoudi at Cultura Festival

Small World Stage Music co-presented by City Hall Live is part of the Cultura Festival co-presented by Councillor John Fillion and North York Arts with presenting partner the City of Toronto.

Recent immigrants to Canada, Padideh Ahrarnejad & Ali Massoudi have over 25 years of experience as professional musicians and educators in their native Iran. Padideh Ahrarnejad plays and teaches Tar, a plucked-string instrument central to Persian music, and Ali Massoudi performs on a wide variety of percussion instruments. Their program of Persian music is based on the traditional Radif.
