Jay Danley has been a professional musician in Toronto for over 20 years. His mastery of the Cuban “tres” guitar has led him to play with many of the legends in Cuban music. He now leads his own group that performs the style of music known as Ethiojazz, a mixture of Ethiopian scales and modern Jazz.
A jazz base mixed with Ethiopian scales with elements of soul, funk, afrobeat and progressive music added in tasteful, delicate amounts.
