Divine Heritage Artistry embody the spirit and exuberance of Bollywood Dance. Shaped through the vision of dancer/choreographer Lopa Sarkar, they have added their spark of life and drama to the cream of charity, cultural and sporting events across Toronto since 2005.
Lopa studied classical Indian Bharatanatym dance for 25 years. She has worked with Bollywood choreographer Pappu-Malu and performed with Malaika Arora. Taking dance on her travels, Lopa has come to appreciate the universal language of movement and music. Dance is a language she uses to express not only the vibrant physicality of Bollywood, but ideas, artistry and spirit, addictive to all who experience it - performers and audience alike!
